The image depicts an industrial facility shrouded in thick fog. Lamp posts and fences are barely visible, adding to the mysterious atmosphere. Image captured on Halloween 2025.
A wastewater treatment plant is located on what has been dubbed the “Northport Shore,” even though Northport, Alabama, is on a river bank and nowhere near any “shores.” The “Northport Shore” is a sports development that wraps around the wastewater treatment plant.
